Evolution features talks, open rehearsals and dance workshops for young dancers and community groups. Afro-Cuban dance traditions are at the heart of Acosta Danza’s varied contemporary programme.
Workshops
Immerse yourself in the energetic and lively culture of Cuba in a dance workshop with Acosta Danza. This one hour class will incorporate movement stemming from the Afro-Cuban modern dance technique. Suitable for those with some prior dance experience wishing to explore Acosta Danza’s choreography combining contemporary dance, Afro-Cuban dance and ballet styles.
