We have just completed our 35th Dance Consortium tour with Brazilian dancers Grupo Corpo.
We had a fantastic time showing them around the UK and we had extremely warm receptions at every venue so a HUGE thank-you to Sadler’s Wells, Southampton Mayflower Theatre, Wales Millenium Centre, The Lowry, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Bradford Alhambra, Birmingham Hippodrome, Grand Opera House Belfast and Festival Theatre Edinburgh!
We had a digital Dance Consortium first during the tour as Birmingham Hippodrome opened up Tweet Seats in their venue. They invited a select number of guests to live tweet the performance from a position in the auditorium where they wouldn’t hinder the rest of the audience. We had a fantastic response from the live tweeters and from the online audience following the #BHGrupo hashtag on Twitter.
