Philip Martin-Nielson discusses dance and autism

To raise awareness, we are sharing Philip Martin-Nielson’s journey into dance. Philip was diagnosed with a severe case of autism at the age of three, unable to speak, with his mother struggling to help him. Yet, he is now  one of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo’s principal dancers.

As soon as Philip was able to speak, at the age of four, he was asking to dance. Since starting dance classes he has never looked back and now plays the role of Odette in Swan Lake for the Trocks.
